A shortcode is a small piece of code, enclosed in square brackets, that allows you to easily add specific functionality or content to your online store. These shortcodes are used in WordPress pages, posts, and widgets to dynamically display products, product categories, cart information, checkout forms, and more, without needing to write custom code.
Synchrony provides following shortcodes to enable specific functions.

Promotions
Promotions are financing offers, such as 6 months deferred interest. Each promotion has a cost, which is expressed as the Merchant Discount Rate. This Merchant Discount Rate is subtracted from the funded amount of the purchase, and this amount represents the cost of financing provided by Synchrony. Merchants cannot pass on the cost of financing to consumers. Available promotions are determined by Synchrony.
The Merchant Discount Rate is determined by the Product Solution selected during enrolment. If you would like to discuss other Product Solution sets, please contact Synchrony at 800-333-1082 or email us at support@synchronyecommercesolutions.zendesk.com.
Troubleshooting
There are several reasons that plugins fail to install properly. Sometimes third-party extensions associated with shipping, tax and one step checkout can cause issues with sub-total and grand total calculations. Certain themes and front-end customizations can cause display issues as well. It is recommended that you email Synchrony at support@synchronyecommercesolutions.zendesk.com and request a technical call with the installation team and configuration experts. Please include your WordPress version and a recent set of logs with your request.
